FeBREWary Stop #7: Manor Hill Brewing | 93 1 WPOC

By @stpierreonair Feb 12, 2021 I m heading into Howard County for our next stop on my tour around some of my favorite breweries in the Baltimore area. I first heard about Manor Hill Brewing when I was grabbing some drinks at Victoria Gastro Pub. My now wife lived down the street so we went there quite a few times. One night the bartender wanted me to try some local beers they had and that s what turned out to be Manor Hill Brewing. Immediately I fell in love with their amber ale. I really do love a good amber ale and this one is fantastic.

An immigrant from the village of Manzanilla on the island of Trinidad, Ena Depradine (pronounced deh-PRAH-deen) settled in Boston in the 1970s, and she brought with her knowledge of how to make a variety of fermented beverages using honey, fruits, flowers, herbs and spices.

The bizarre tale of the world s last lost tourist, who thought Maine was San Francisco FacebookTwitterEmail Erwin KreuzWikimedia Commons / Blair Heagarty In 1977, 49-year-old German brewery worker Erwin Kreuz blew his life savings on his first flight a once-in-a-lifetime birthday trip to San Francisco.
